ProfitLeak Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of ProfitLeak, a business analytics application designed to help e-commerce merchants identify evidence-backed profitability issues, quantify verified losses, monitor recurring patterns, and prioritize corrective actions.
1. Service provider and business use
ProfitLeak is operated by Mascia Luciani in Italy. The service is intended for merchants, professionals, and other business users. By installing or using ProfitLeak, you confirm that you are authorized to use the connected store data for business purposes.
2. What ProfitLeak provides
ProfitLeak analyzes connected store, product, order, cost, and related operational data to surface findings such as verified profit leaks, margin issues, data-quality gaps, recurring loss patterns, monitoring history, and proactive alerts. ProfitLeak is a decision-support tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or financial-advisory services.
3. Evidence and estimates
ProfitLeak is designed to distinguish evidence-backed verified losses from incomplete, estimated, or insufficient data. A finding is only presented as verified when the available evidence supports that status under the active ProfitLeak ruleset. Results still depend on the accuracy, completeness, timing, and availability of data supplied by the connected platform and merchant.
4. Free and paid access
ProfitLeak may offer a free installation or Free Scan with limited functionality. Paid features may include the Full Audit, continuous monitoring, Profit History, recurring leak analysis, proactive alerts, and the Action Center. The exact features available to an installation depend on the active plan and entitlement recognized by the platform.
5. Billing, renewals, cancellation, and refunds
Paid subscriptions purchased through the platform are billed and managed by the platform’s billing system. Prices, renewal periods, taxes, cancellation mechanics, and any refund rights are shown during checkout and are subject to the applicable platform billing terms. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals according to the platform’s rules but does not retroactively create a refund unless required by applicable law or platform policy.
6. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining accurate store data, product costs, order records, permissions, and account security. You must not use ProfitLeak to process data you are not authorized to access, interfere with the service, bypass plan restrictions, reverse engineer protected components, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, update, modify, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, platform compatibility, or product quality. We aim to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed, including where availability depends on third-party platforms, APIs, hosting, or network services.
8. Intellectual property
ProfitLeak, including its software, rules, interface, branding, reports, and product logic, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business operations while your installation and applicable entitlement remain valid.
9. Confidentiality and data handling
We process connected-store data only as needed to provide, secure, monitor, and improve ProfitLeak as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell consumer personal data.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ProfitLeak is provided as a business decision-support service and is not a substitute for professional review of pricing, accounting, tax, legal, or commercial decisions. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete merchant data, third-party platform failures, unauthorized account access outside our control, or business decisions made without independent review. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where necessary to address security risks, unlawful use, material breach of these Terms, platform restrictions, non-payment of a paid plan, or discontinuation of the service. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.
12. Governing principles
These Terms are governed by applicable law at the service provider’s place of establishment, subject to any mandatory rights that cannot be waived. For business users, disputes should first be raised through ProfitLeak’s official support channel so the parties can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
13. Contact
For support, contractual questions, or legal notices, use the official ProfitLeak support contact displayed in the app’s marketplace listing.
